I made this Tussie Mussie for a challenge “Christmas in July” being held by Debra at Fabulously Creative on YouTube. I first layered paper on a paper Mache cone, then applied the lace and all the embellishments.

Altered Paper Bag in Lace for Mollytigger

Hi Everyone-

Mollytigger on YouTube is having a giveaway. It’s called the Bag Lady giveaway! Such a cute name, I could not help but participate! I did mine in all lace, added a vintage photo from the Graphics Fairy and embellished it with purple flowers from Craftsupplies1 on Zibbet.

Altered Photo Album in Lace

Hi Everyone-

I altered a small photo album in all lace.  The vintage photo is from Graphics Fairy.  All the lace was placed on felt and then layers of lace were placed. Lots of pearls and rose trim which I love.

Pennant Challenge for Proudmommy702

Hi Everyone! I recently participated in a challenge held by Proudmommy702 on YouTube. Sherrain asked for a 7 x 7 inch pennant.  I did mine in lace, made the heart and embellished it with her name.

Here’s What I’ve Been Up To…

I have been having a fun time taking old hardcover books and making organizers from scraps.  They can be used for just about anything…photos, mail, coupons, recipes etc.  I have been making them for everyone.  They are really fun and go very quickly.  Please enjoy the photos!

 

Here is a look at one I made as a birthday gift for a friend.  For this one, I covered the inside cover with paper and then hand cut the flowers from another piece of scrapbook paper and glued those down:

Here is a photo of one my hubby keeps on his desk.  For this one, I just used paper to cover the inside covers:

Here is another view, as you can see he is already using it for his coupons for McDonalds:

Just fold the pages in half and decorate the inside of covers.  The book will always stay open, so there is no need to decorate the outside covers. 

Project: Old Printer Box Scrapbook…

Here is a very fun project…Take an old printer box, they can usually be bought at an antique store on various auction sites such as eBay.  Take various papers, old pictures, jewelry, ephemera, trims etc. and fill the squares.  You can fill one square or several with one photo.  A visitor to Queen Bee Studio did the one shown below.  As you can see, there are photos that sit on top of the drawers and some are recessed.  I recommend having a good idea of where you are going to place your items before gluing them down.  Enjoy!
